Have you ever finished a book and said “Man, I wish I could ________ like that?” Bookish Bucket List is a semi-regular feature for the things I’ve put on my bucket list and the books that made me do so.

Die for Me cover
Title: Die For Me (Revenants #1)

Author: Amy Plum

Summary: [from GoodReads]

In the City of Lights, two star-crossed lovers battle a fate that is destined to tear them apart again and again for eternity.

When Kate Mercier’s parents die in a tragic car accident, she leaves her life–and memories–behind to live with her grandparents in Paris. For Kate, the only way to survive her pain is escaping into the world of books and Parisian art. Until she meets Vincent.

Mysterious, charming, and devastatingly handsome, Vincent threatens to melt the ice around Kate’s guarded heart with just his smile. As she begins to fall in love with Vincent, Kate discovers that he’s a revenant–an undead being whose fate forces him to sacrifice himself over and over again to save the lives of others. Vincent and those like him are bound in a centuries-old war against a group of evil revenants who exist only to murder and betray. Kate soon realizes that if she follows her heart, she may never be safe again.

Bucket List Entry: Live in Paris

Is there ANY more beautiful sounding place to live? I’ve been there to visit for a few days before, and it was gorgeous, yes. But it’s different visiting somewhere than it is actually living there. I want to understand the culture, have the time to take in all these beautiful things, and actually get used to them so I can see the beautiful things they don’t show tourists, you know?

What’s on your Bucket List?

  1. YES! I think it would be awesome to actually live in Paris for a while and get totally immersed in the culture. I’d at least like to visit one day. :)

  2. […] Wednesday I put living in Paris on my bucket list. […]
