The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 13th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 6.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. -From the Bout of Books 6.0 team

Oooo, I’m so happy I saw this. I’m gonna have to go sign up now too
Good luck on your grad school interview!!!
Thanks, Erica! I’m glad you’ll be joining us
The more the merrier!
Oh, what fun! I may pop over and see if I can join in the fun too. Good luck at your grad school interview! Where are you interviewing at?
You should! This was my first read-a-thon back on version 4.0 and I’ve loved it ever since!
Thanks! I’m interviewing at IU Bloomington, which is my top school right now. Fingers crossed! 😀
Good luck on all your reading goals- I love the list of books to read there!
Thanks! Good Luck to you too!
Oh boy, tiny advice: in my experience, Fire Study is not a fast read—I LOVE Snyder (and the series) but Fire is somewhat of a fail. :s
Anyway, good luck, have fun, and I’ll see you around the read-a-thon. 😉
I’ve heard that!
But having read the rest of the series, I kind of feel like I have to finish it. Maybe I’ll put it off till after the read-a-thon though.
Good luck to you too! 😀
I like that your goals are so well-rounded, lol! I set mine as just reading goals, but I don’t know how well I’ll do as this is my first time – and I didn’t realize how much social stuff there was going on during BoB. So…I may see how this one goes and change my goals for next time, lol!
Anyway, you’ve made a new friend (I hope, lol)…I’m following you and look forward to “reading” with you next week!
Thanks! I think my first time I mostly just set reading goals – it takes going through it once to really know what Bout of Books is about. Happy reading next week! 😀
Woo! 7 books! Go you!
I aimed totally low since I don’t know when I’ll be reading, but I did warn hubs that I’m participating! I hope that most of mine can help me with Book Bingo.
GOOD LUCK!
Yeah, I figured out my goals before figuring out I’d be gone for some of it. But 7 is totally do-able and normal for me, if I go about it the right way.
I don’t think I’ll be reading anything all year that I won’t figure out how to count for Book Bingo somehow lol. It takes LOTS of books to get a blackout after all.
Good luck to you too!
Love your list, have to read all of them.
My Goals
Thanks! Good luck!
AWESOME goals! I lovedddd the Discovery of Witches – I really hope you enjoy it! And yayyy… Harry Potter re-read
I hope you accomplish all of your goals!
Thanks!
I’m really looking forward to Discovery of Witches, I’ve had it on my shelf for a while and just never got around to reading it lol. Good luck next week!
Good luck with all your goals! It looks like you have plenty of good books to keep you occupied!
~Allison @ Good Books & Good Wine
I sure hope so! If that’s not enough, then I’ll have been a LOT less busy than I thought I’d be this week lol
You have tons of good books up there. I love Estep’s books and thought Discovery of Witches was pretty good too
Good luck this week!
I just started Discovery of Witches and it’s pretty good so far! It’s effing BIG though! Gonna take me a while
Thanks and good luck to you too!
Wow, that’s quite a book list – a few of them are pretty big! Best of luck with all your goals and have a lovely week
*raps* I like big BOOKS and I cannot lie. You other brothers can’t de-NY. *stops* *looks around and hopes nobody heard that* *blushes furiously*
Thanks Angelya! 😀
Good luck with the read-a-thon!
Thanks Alexia!
Woo! Awesome progress, Anne! KEEP GOING!
Thanks Kristilyn! 😀
