Clock Rewinders on a Book Binge is where Tara @ 25 Hour Books and Amanda @ On a Book Bender shamelessly plug each other, share the fantastic posts, giveaways, or whatever else we’ve found and loved by other awesome bloggers (or authors!) during the week, and talk about the books we plan on reading in the coming week. The Corner Newsstand
(This week on Creativity’s Corner)
- Monday I complained at the gore in the movie Looper.
- Tuesday I reviewed my first horror book, Ten.
- Wednesday I put living in Paris on my bucket list.
- Thursday I reviewed The Diviners.
- Friday I asked if you write in your books. I don’t! *shudders*
Behind the Desk
(My life behind the scenes)
Life has been quiet. I got the house to myself for the first half of the week, and that was very nice! I love having a quiet house! Of course, when everyone came back they brought back SICKNESS so I am now holed up in my room hoping nobody gives it to me!
Around the Corner
(Blog posts I found awesome since the last post)
- Ruby (Ruby’s Reads) wrote a beautiful post on heroes for Martin Luther King Day.
- Lauren (The Housework Can Wait) discussed the definition of genre and wondered if it mattered.
- Gaby (Queen Ella Bee Reads) talked about traveling with books, and suggested ebooks. As someone who has spent some time abroad and tried to live without books, I highly recommend this post to anyone traveling on a plane.
- Kelly (Reading the Paranormal) discusses her need for a literary Happily Ever After.

I cannot WAIT for Scarlet! That’s why I’m re-reading Cinder
You’re doing awesome with your reading! I really should start Cinder one of these days …
And yay to an empty house! I looooove it when the house is super quiet. Hopefully you don’t get sick!
Of the 5 I read this week, I finished 4 of them yesterday – I wouldn’t necessarily call that awesome, just a determination to finally FINISH A BOOK for once lol.
*Lysols EVERYTHING in the house* *lysols the blog* *lysols Twitter* I SHALL NOT BE SICK!
Emmph. Sickness. Blech. I hope you don’t catch whatever’s going around.
I hope I don’t too, I HATE being sick!
